YoungShip Texas is looking for motivated maritime professionals to join our board and drive the organization forward. Board members play a critical role in planning events, engaging sponsors, growing our membership, and strengthening Houston's maritime community. Before applying, please ensure you:

  • Are currently employed in the maritime or logistics industry
  • Can commit to attending monthly board meetings and organizational events
  • Are prepared to fulfill the time commitment outlined in the position description

Applications for 2026 board positions will be reviewed on a rolling basis until January 28.

Sponsorship Co-Chair

Identify and secure corporate sponsors while serving as the primary liaison between YoungShip Texas and maritime companies. Build relationships with C-suite executives and demonstrate the value of partnership.

Lead brand strategy and content creation across social media and newsletters. Capture event content, produce engaging videos, and manage marketing initiatives. Build visibility while connecting with industry leaders.
